Super capacity activated carbon
SP-ACP32 is specifically designed for supercapacitor electrodes. It features an ultra-high specific surface area and a well-developed mesoporous structure (2–3 nm), enabling efficient ion transport and rapid charge storage. With low ash (<0.3%) and low iron (92% retention after 1000 cycles). Available in controlled particle sizes (D50 1–10 μm), it is ideal for both aqueous and organic electrolyte systems.

Working principle
Supercapacitor activated carbon functions as an electrode material that stores energy through the formation of an electrical double layer at the carbon-electrolyte interface. When voltage is applied, ions from the electrolyte migrate to the carbon surface and accumulate at the micropore walls, creating two charged layers separated by nanometers—this is purely electrostatic charge storage with no chemical reactions involved. The carbon's exceptionally high specific surface area and well-developed micropore structure provide abundant active sites for ion accommodation, enabling rapid charge/discharge kinetics.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Have Questions? We're Here to Help.
Identify the pollutants to be adsorbed; examine key indicators; and conduct small-scale trials to verify the results, taking into account cost.
No. The iodine value only indicates the number of micropores and is suitable for small molecules; if processing large molecules, the methylene blue value and the proportion of mesopores need to be considered.
Drinking water/odor removal: Coconut shell charcoal (high micropores); Municipal high-flow-rate charcoal: Coal-based charcoal (high strength); Industrial wastewater decolorization: Wood-based charcoal (well-developed mesopores); Specific selection requires flexibility.
Granular activated carbon (general purpose), honeycomb activated carbon (high airflow, low resistance), and fiber felt (high-requirement applications) are all available.
Yes. You can contact us to select samples, specifying the quantity and requirements.
Yes. Particle size, column diameter, honeycomb size, pore size, and iodine value/CTC can all be customized to your needs.
