Working principle
Resin-based spherical activated carbon is manufactured from polymeric resin precursors through carbonization and activation. It adsorbs contaminants via physical adsorption within its developed micropore network, complemented by surface functional groups that enable chemisorption for polar molecules. Its perfectly spherical shape ensures uniform packing, minimal flow resistance, and excellent fluid dynamics in fixed-bed systems.
